High School Reading Buddies
The high school student council students are doing reading buddies with our kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students. Each month the high school students come down to the elementary school to read a book or listen to a student read to them.
Reading Buddies is a great activity for ALL students because it allows the high school students opportunities to interact with the younger students and also providing them a great role model to work with throughout the year. The elementary students also get the chance to be friends with an older student and work with them on improving their reading skills.
