MAC Red White Tailgate

January 18, 2018

Details for the Red/White Husker Spring Game have finally been set and the Malcolm Action Coalition (MAC) would like to share an opportunity for our 7-12th grade students to attend this game.
Below are details of the day including the tailgate party that is sponsored by Region V Systems:
Game day:  Saturday, April 21, 2018
Tailgate time:  8:30 am - 10:00ish at UNL's Cook Pavillion
Game time:  11:00 am
Students can arrive at Cook Pavillion for the tailgate anytime between 8:30 - 10:00 am.  Donuts and juice will be available for all.  Students will be able to play games like football, frisbee, ping pong, etc., at the tailgate.  Around 10:15 am, students will get ready to walk over to the stadium.  They will be given a lunchable, bag of chips, and a pop to eat for lunch.  Of course, the stadium will be selling pizzas and runzas for an additional purchase.
To reserve a ticket, please bring $10 to Mrs. Frank by Tuesday, January 30th.  The early deadline is needed to get the tickets.  If something comes up and you cannot go to the game, you can find someone to take your ticket.  If you don't, you lose your money.  For those who show up to the tailgate, you will be refunded your $10 (and can use that as spending money at the game!).  These tickets will be purchased by the Malcolm Action Coalition.
MAC is also willing to pay for tickets for up to six parent sponsors for this event.  If any parent is interested in being a sponsor, please let me know.
Transportation to and from this event is the responsibility of the student.  No school transportation will be provided.
April 21st is also Malcolm's Jr/Sr PROM so this day may not work for some of our older students, but hopefully it will for some of our younger students.
More information will be sent out closer to this date for anyone who reserves a ticket.  Remember, $10 is all that is needed to reserve a ticket and you will get that back once you show up.  Please give cash or check (payable to MAC) to Mrs. Frank on or before January 30th if you are interested.
This is a great drug-free event for our students!!  Please email Mrs. Frank  at kelly.frank@mps148.org with any questions.
