The basketball games are still on for tonight.


Due to county roads being reduced to one lane in many locations, and others being drifted shut. MPS will not have school today.
A decision on athletics will come later today.


Malcolm Public Schools will have a 2 hour late start on Friday, January 19th due to road conditions. An update could come tomorrow morning.


Here is the schedule, parking information, and clear bag policy for Creighton as the basketball teams play at DJ Sokol Arena.
Admission is $12 at the door.




January 17th is I Love Public Schools Day! All PK-12 staff and students are encouraged to wear a Malcolm shirt.


Malcolm Schools is accepting preschool applications for the 2024-2025 school year. More information can be found on the school's website. Preschool is available for students who are 3 or 4 years old.

Great reminder from NE DOT
As schools reopen:
1.) Stop for School Buses: Obey flashing lights and stop arms.
2.) Wait for Signals: Lights off before proceeding.
3.) Maintain Distance: Keep a safe distance for stops.
4.) Slow Down in School Zones: Be cautious, kids around.
5.) Watch for Bus Stops
