Congratulations to the Malcolm middle school students that participated in the 40th annual Malcolm Music Contest March 19th-20th. The 2 day event brought thousands of students from around the area. Below is the full ratings sheet of Malcolm music students.

Junior choir members Clara Ladman and Elsa Schleining had the opportunity to sing the national anthem before the University of Nebraska Softball game against UCLA. Sunday. They gave an amazing performance and even head softball coach Rhonda Revelle came over afterwards to thank them.

Congratulations to Shaylee Heidtbrink on earning 1st place in Proficiency: Dairy Placement! 🏅

It was an excellent week for all of our FFA members at the 2026 State Convention in Lincoln.

Malcolm Schools will again offer a Drivers Education course this spring. Questions, contact Mr. Sweet. In person class will be May 26-29th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Students will sign up for driving sessions with Mr. Sweet as the class approaches.

Students needing the online course will work the same way: Click “View Online Classes”, then “Classes in Lincoln/Greater Nebraska” “Register for a class” and look for the Malcolm location.

Driver Education Schedule: National Safety Council, Nebraska

Students will sign up for drive times as class gets closer. Each student drives 2 3-hour drives in which they'll drive gravel, suburban, highway, interstate, and complete the Nebraska Drive Test.

Malcolm Student Council will host a fundraiser to benefit Make a Wish on May 2nd. Visit the North 27th Chipotle on May 2nd to have a portion of your purchase benefit their fundraiser!
